Helambu, located to the north-east of Kathmandu, is easily accessible by foot. Helambu Trek is one another popular trekking trails in Langtang region. Located near by Kathmandu, Helambu is one of the most loved and demanded trekking destination and we frequently organized trekking package to Helambu. It is relatively low altitude and short trekking. The highest point of the trekking goes not more than 3,600 m Tharepati La pass. Though the trekking is limited to the low altitude areas, the travelers will have a chance to have beautiful scenes of white-Himalayas namely of Jugal Himal, Gauri Shankar, Dorje Lakpa, Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung and other mountains lying in the Langtang region.

One of the features of this trekking is that the travelers will have a chance not only to see and explore the mountain range of the Langtang region but to explore the amazing culture of various ethnic groups residing in the areas primarily of Tamang, Sherpa, and Hyolmo. You will be amazed by their innocent smiles, warm hospitality, benevolent services, outstanding landscapes, beautiful village, houses are thatched and stone roofed, the monasteries, Chhorten. These all the features have made the trekking in Langtang region one of the special and loved trails.

Helambu Trek can be completed merely within a week or can be extended to over two or three weeks going over the Mountain Lake Goshainkunda, spectacular and remote valley. There are two routes for the beginning of trekking to Helambu. One trail begins from Sundarijal and another begins from Syabru Bensi. Either that be from Sundarijal or Syabrubesi, the trail then continues through the jungle along the holy lake Gosaikunda and finally reaches at Helambu. After making excursion to the area and enjoying the cultural blend of diverse ethnic people residing in the area, you will return to the place called Chisapani and subsequently return back to Kathmandu.
