Sun Koshi means “River of Gold”. Sunkoshi River flows from the Mountains to the east of Nepal throughout the vast valley between the Mahabharata range. It is the source of water for most of the eastern part of Nepal. Sunkoshi river rafting begins from the Dolalghat. However, from Dumjabesi also trip is possible because of the Banepa-Bardibas highway. You can experience the different grades of water rapids, exciting and huge challenges as you process ahead. While rafting, you cannot see any towns or roads just the rhythm of water and the stunning view of the often seen villages and huge mountains and lush vegetation. You can feel the hospitality of the people while you are rafting as they say “Namaste” and goodbye by waving their hands. On the way, all along you can see the sandy beaches for the camping and resting. While you come down to the lower fraction of the river you can see some monkey and beautiful birds as the forest is dense here.

  • Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu

Day 01: Scenic drives from Kathmandu and starts the journey after some necessary tips about the safety. Today the trip is easy with moderate grades. On the way, you can see the lush vegetation and the magnificent picturesque.

Day 02: After breakfast, we start our rafting with full of joy and adventure. We pass "Meatgrinder" after some hours of rafting and finally, we reach Tama Koshi.

Day 03: We continue from yesterday journey by enjoying the rapids of waters. Today the rapids are high and you experience the scenic beauty of nature as well as the adventurous journey. After some hours of rafting, we pass Likhu Khola confluence with some thrilling experience and nervousness.

Day 04: Today is the big day for rafting as the rapids are also high and we face many obstacles while heading. We pass from the narrow canyons, big narrow rocks and splash of water on the face. With nervousness and anxiety, we reach Harkapur Village.
Day 05: Rest day. Today we enjoy at the beach of the river in different activities.
Day 06: After breakfast, we start our day with water. We raft whole day at the Dudh Koshi convergence and couples of hours of rafting at the river we set camp above the passage of the jungle.

Day 07: Today is possibly the best day for rafting because we raft at the passage of the jungle and the grade of the water is also very high up to IV rapids. On the way, we can see the numerous waterfalls, mountains as well as lush vegetation. The splash of water gives you the experience of rafting in Nepal with the picturesque beauty.

Day 08: Today we pass the corridor by facing the different class III/IV. The journey becomes more adventurous because of the fluctuated class. The water becomes big and at the camping spot and stay overnight.

Day 09: Today is the last day of our adventurous journey. After breakfast, we head towards Chatara. And we pack everything and drive back to Kathmandu or you can extend your trip either to Pokhara or Chitwan National park.
